Rangerette Manager/Beaus 2016-2017
Thank you for taking an interest in becoming one of the Rangerette managers/beaus
for the 2016-2017 school year.
What you would need to complete the packet:

Dear Parents:
Your son/daughter has expressed an interest in being a Beau/Manager for the
Rangerettes Drill Team. The Beaus and Managers are extremely important in
making things run smoothly at football games, competitions, and other events.
Beaus and Managers help load the bus, set up the stands at football games, escort
the girls to the restrooms and onto the field, and do various other things which help
ensure the success of the Rangerettes. They attend all football games, competitions,
and any other Rangerette performances. Beaus and Managers ride the bus to and
from all events.
These boys and girls will also be invited to any Rangerette parties such as the
holiday party and end of year banquet. In order for your son/daughter to be invited
to these events, he/she must be a member in good-standing. This means that your
son/daughter must be passing all classes, and must attend all events unless
approved in advance. He/She must also be passing all classes in order to attend
games or events with the team.
The Managers will be enrolled in 4th or 8th period (Your son/daughter and her
counselor will be told which one.) Beaus will not be enrolled in class, but will
receive a schedule of events and times.
Attached is a parental agreement, stating that you approve of your student being a
Beau or Manager. It also states that you approve of them attending events with the
Rangerettes, riding the bus, and so on.
As a manager and a beau, there are items that are required for the school year.
Please see the Manager/Beau necessities list for a detailed price breakdown (see
attached form).
The deadline to have the completed application is Monday, March 21 at the
mandatory parent meeting. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to

Future costs that could arise are food at certain events such as before football games
or at competitions.
Beaus Attire
The attire for the season is a white button down long sleeve shirt, navy blue slacks,
black belt and solid black shoes. These items will be checked out and in weekly.
These items are property of Lamar High School, any item that is lost or not
returned-will result in a replacement fee.
