Purpose of Assignment #3
The purpose of assignment three was to learn more about assembly
documentation. We were assigned to draw a concept sketch for a simple
assembly. I personally chose to do a meat tenderizing hammer that I
manufactured in my High School career. We also had to produce a set of
complete part documentation drawings for each custom part. After that, we
had to create an assembly drawing in the exploded isometric format. The
assembly drawing had to be complete including balloons to specify each part
and a parts list. All of these drawings were to be done by hand.
