TRANSFER OF ACCRUED SICK LEAVE CREDITS
Certificated employees shall arrange for transfer of unused, accrued sick leave from former,
or to future, employing districts. Requests for transfer shall be in writing on forms approved
by the State Department of Education.
Upon receipt of a completed transfer request form, the district shall supply the employee’s
new employer with a certified statement listing accumulated sick leave signed by the person
who maintains employee attendance records.
