Assessment Workload Continuous Assessment 1 Continuous Assessment 2 60% 40% Course assessment is based entirely on practical project work. There is no written examination in this subject. There are no weekly tutorial submissions. Students are required to carry out indicated tutorial work, as each subsequent lecture will presume its completion. Signed submission forms for both projects are required from students before 100% of the overall grade can be obtained. Involvement in tutorials carries a significant allocation of project marks. There are two projects: Project 1 is due before 1pm on Friday Week 9 (2nd November) and will account for 60% of the overall grade. Project 2 is due before 1pm on Friday 7th December and will account for 40% of the overall grade. Students are required to submit both projects by the relevant deadlines. Details of the projects will be provided only when each project is distributed. Project work is to be carried out in groups of no more than 4 persons. Students may choose their group members. Students will be required to submit a personal assessment report to accompany both projects. This will enable the students to identify their unique contribution to the projects.
