• There is a wide difference in perspective rendering and
model photography. Model photography has the
advantage of choice of viewpoint and almost unlimited
variations of distances, where as a rendering is usually
done from a fixed positions because of the elaborate
methods necessary to plot and draw one viewpoint. The
advantage of the drawing over the model is in the
technique of delineating colors and materials with any
amount of detail and texture. By comparison to this, the
close-up view of a model looks flat. The views above
illustrate the comparison. In the drawing, foreground
elements are easy to work with. In the model photo,
foreground detail is unrealistic. Finally, the aerial view
combines the best of the drawing technique by
“ghosting” the frames of other adjacent building in the
area , in a fully detailed airbrush technique.
