15-0789 – Duty Upon Striking an Unattended Vehicle – Lot 12A – 05/11/15 0740 hours –
Officer Garza – A UH staff member’s vehicle was damaged by another vehicle while parked in
UH Parking Lot 12A. The driver of the striking vehicle failed to leave their necessary
information as required by Texas State Law. The incident occurred between 2245 hours, on
05/10/15 and 0736 hours 05/11/15. The Case is Active.
15-0790 – Harassment – UHPD – 05/11/15 0750 hours – Officer Adams – A UH female
student reported she was being harassed by a male UH student. The female student refused
to file criminal charges. The male student (Harassing party), was contacted and told to cease
contact with the female student. The incident occurred between 0900 hours, 03/26/15 and
0000 hours, 05/08/15. The Case is Active Pending New Information.
15-0793 – Theft – Cougar Village – 05/11/15 1033 hours – Office Assistant Bryant – A staff
member report the theft of US Currency from the Cougar Village C-Store. The incident
occurred between 1630 hours, 05/05/15 and 0830 hour, 05/06/15. The Case is Active.
15-0796 – Fraud – Melcher Hall – 05/11/15 1414 hours – Officer Garza – A UH student
reported she was scammed out of $2,833.00 when she accepted a General Clerk position she
applied for through the Bauer Career Gateway. The complainant stated she received two
fraudulent checks and deposited the first check then made multiple payments to designated
contacts. The incident occurred between 1141 hours, 04/22/15 and 1428 hours, 05/08/15.
The Case is Active Pending New Information.
15-0797 – Duty Upon Striking an Unattended Vehicle – Stadium Parking Garage – 05/11/15
1757 hours – Officer Vega – A UH student reported that her unattended, parked vehicle was
struck and damaged by another vehicle. The driver of the striking vehicle failed to leave their
necessary information as required by Texas State Law. A Texas Peace Officer's Crash
Report was completed. The incident occurred between 1300 hours, 05/11/15 and 1700
hours, 05/11/15. The Case is Inactive.
15-0799 – Theft – Moody Towers Fresh Food Company – 05/11/15 1941 hours – Officer
Vega – A UH Contract Employee’s unattended, unsecured culinary knife was stolen by an
unknown person. The incident occurred between 1515 – 1700 hours, 05/11/15. The Case is
Active Pending New Information.
15-0801 – Duty Upon Striking an Unattended Vehicle – Bayou Oaks Parking Lot – 05/11/15
2125 hours – Officer Martinez – A UH student’s unattended, parked vehicle was struck and
damaged by another vehicle. The driver of the striking vehicle failed to provide the necessary
information as required by Texas State Law. The incident occurred between 0300 hours,
05/11/15 and 1348 hours, 05/11/15. The Case is Active Pending New Information.
