$15.00 and can sell 500 shirts at that price. Emanuel
finds that for every $0.15 the price is lowered, 20
more shirts can be sold. What price maximizes
profit? How many shirts are sold at that price?

A local tour boat was heading towards shore to drop
off some tourists, when it began to have engine
failure. The boat was then carried by the tide. Scuba
Steve noticed the boat in trouble and decided to jump
in and save the people. The boat's path is defined by

tangent line he would need to swim in order to meet
