ABSTRACT: Internet without wires. Wireless is a growing revolution changing the way people communicate with each other and sharing ideas. From cell phones to PDAs to mobile computers, wireless access puts us instantly in touch with millions of other people around the whole planet [1]. Wireless local area network (WLAN) technology is rapidly becoming a crucial component of computer networks, and its use is growing by leaps and bounds. Wi-Fi is one of the wireless communications designed for high-speed Internet access. Wi-Fi (pronounced wye-fye), a wireless-technology brand owned by the Wi-Fi Alliance, promotes standard with the aim of improving the interoperability of WLAN products based on the IEEE 802.11 standards [2]. Thanks to the finalization of the IEEE 802.11 WLAN standard. Wireless technology since then has emerged from the world of proprietary implementations to become an open solution for providing mobility as well as essential network services where wiring installations are impractical.
