Organizing Files
To organize your files:
– Create a central folder or a directory to
hold all the material that will be
available at your Website.
– Divide the central folder in a way that
reflects the organization of your
website. You may decide to create a
separate folder for HTML documents,
one of images, and one for other
external files.

Creating a URL
When considering a host, there are a number of
things to keep in mind:
How much disk space will they let you have for your
website?
DO they offer technical support?
Will they register a domain name for you?
How fast is their connection to the Internet? This will
determine how fast your pages are served to your visitors.
Do they include dial-up access to the Internet?
Will they let you run custom CGI scripts, FrontPage
extensions, and other advanced features?
Do they offer a web hit statistic service to let you know how
many people have been visiting your site?
