12:15-1 p.m., Mondays, Feb. 15, 29; March 7, 21; April 4
This workshop series focuses on helping students develop academic skills to promote success. Topics include time
management, study skills, test taking, reading and writing. Students may attend any or all of the workshops.

LGBTQIA Support Group
4–5:30 p.m., Mondays, beginning on Feb. 8
The group provides LGBTQIA-identified and questioning students with a safe place to discuss relevant topics relevant with
other LGBTQIA students. Open to graduate and undergraduate students of The Claremont Colleges, topics are initiated by
group members and may include identity development, coming out, intersectionality, academic concerns, and issues as a queer
or trans person of color, feeling safe on campus, family issues, religion, stress/coping and relationships/dating.

Nourish Group
4-5:30 p.m., Wednesdays, beginning Feb. 10
Nourish is a process-oriented group for students who struggle with their relationship with food, their bodies, and underlying emotions. Group members explore and seek to understand how issues related to self-esteem, confidence, authenticity, and emotional management connect to and affect our relationships with food and our bodies. Group therapy offers hope and relief through a
sense of community and connection with others who understand.

Students of Color Support Group,
3-4:30 p.m., Thursdays, Beginning Feb. 11, Tranquada Student Services Center, VPSA Conference Room (2285)
This safe and supportive space for students of color is a place to discuss the complexities of navigating personal and
interpersonal spaces within and outside of The Claremont colleges. Students can discuss, explore, and give voice to feelings
and experiences related to campus climate, racism, racial identity, oppression and privilege, self-esteem and confidence,
empowerment and disempowerment and other topics of interest.

Women’s Group
5-6:30 p.m., Thursdays, beginning Feb. 11
Participants of the women’s group will receive and provide support to realize an empowered living. Topics for discussion include
self-esteem, responsibility for others and need for self-care, family, relationships and intimacy, communication, academic
pressure and life transitions.

Support for Survivors
11 a.m.-noon, Fridays
This group is designed for women who have experienced sexual assault or abuse at any time in their lives. Group survivors can
share their experiences, explore their feelings and receive support as they work through the healing process.

Understanding Self and Others
2-3:30 p.m., Fridays, beginning on Feb. 12
This general interpersonal process group is open to students who want to better understand themselves and their relationships with others. With a deeper understanding of one’s self and relationships, this group offers a supportive, challenging and
growth-inspiring atmosphere to help participants find effective ways to communicate, expand their interpersonal style and try
new behaviors.
