Public Comment (Information)
Public comment will be taken during this agenda item. No action may be taken on a matter raised under this item
until the matter is included on an agenda as an item on which action may be taken. Comments will be limited to
two minutes per person. Persons making comment will be asked to begin by stating their name for the record and
to spell their last name. The chair may elect to allow additional public comment on a specific agenda item when
that agenda item is being considered. In accordance with Attorney General Opinion No. 00-047, as restated in the
Attorney General’s Open Meeting Law Manual, the chair may prohibit comment if the content of that comment is a
topic that is not relevant to, or within the authority of, the SGA, or if the content is willfully disruptive of the
meeting by being irrelevant, repetitious, slanderous, offensive, inflammatory, irrational or amounting to personal
attacks or interfering with the rights of other speakers.

For Possible Action
a.
On Campus Event Requests:
i. Christian Outreach Club Weekly Campus Activities (Movie Night and Club Booth) in Sierra Building
room 108 reoccurring every Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. beginning on
January 28th 2016 through May 28th, 2016
ii. Philippine United Students’ Organization Valentine Sale in the Student Center 2nd floor near the
cafeteria on Thursday, February 11th, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
iii. Student American Dental Hygiene Association Continuing Education Course in the Student Center
on Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
b.
Senate will examine and discuss a quote for the purchase of three desktop computers for student access
totaling $3,793.44 and may choose to allocate funds. See attachment A.
c.
Senate will discuss violation of SGA Bylaws Section 2. Responsibilities, subparagraph titled All SGA
Senators shall equally share in the following responsibilities, subsection A. “Attend regularly scheduled
meetings of the SGA Senate,” by Senator for the Division of Sciences Lionel Huvaya and may elect to place
the Senator on probation or find grounds for dismissal from office
