GENERAL WORKSHOP INFORMATION
The 4th International Systems Radiation Biology Workshop will be held May 20–22, 2010 at The New
York University (NYU) Langone Medical Center in New York City. This workshop will provide a
forum for research scientists to discuss the application of systems biology approaches to issues in
radiation biology, radiation protection, and radiotherapy.
Systems radiation biology is a new field that addresses classic problems in radiation biology by
integrating the biology of DNA damage with extracellular signaling pathways and transcriptional
regulatory networks in a multicellular organism. Computational models of complex mechanisms that
provide experimentally testable predictions are beginning to provide a better understanding of health
risks such as cancer and degenerative disease.
Workshop attendance is limited and registration is required for all attendees.
Workshop Location:

Abstract Instructions
NOTE: Only a few submitted abstracts will be selected for presentation.
Abstracts will be published in a Workshop Abstract Volume with the Program and Participant List.
We ask that you submit your abstract in PDF format. This will give you more control over the quality of
your published abstract. Be sure to set your preferences to embed the fonts in the PDF document. If you
are unable to comply with this request to submit your abstract file in PDF format, please contact Kellie
