Milestones to Shoot for
Knowing what has be done and getting it accomplished on time are not the
same. Just as you should use a database system to keep track of what has been
sent, received, etc., some form of reminder calendar is wise. This will help you
keep track of time and avoid last-minute rushes that are stressful and less
efficient. One form of this is a master schedule of events (Figure 4-2). You must
be aware that some advanced or specialty programs will have different
timetables than the ones provided here. It is your responsibility to keep up with
the specifics; this book can only be a guide.
