Description of the Task
You are to:
Create four graphic organizers that show the relationships of the course content under the
following headings:




Introduction to Geography
Interactions in the Physical Environment
Human Geography
Managing Canada’s Resources and Industries
Assignment Requirements
1. You will be given four days You will be given four days (Wed. June 8, Fri. June 10,
Mon. June 13, Wed. June 15) in which a graphical organizer must be completed and
handed in at the end of each period.
a. Wed. June 8 – Introduction to Geography
b. Fri. June 10 - Interactions in the Physical Environment
c. Mon. June 13 – Human Geography
d. Wed. June 15 – Managing Canada’s Resources and Industries
2. Use your binder (course notes) to locate relevant information.
3. Prepare a good copy of your organizer and display it on the sheet of paper that will be
provided to you.
4. Ensure that your information is legible and neat as visual presentation will be evaluated.
5. Use the sample below as a guideline to how to create a graphic organizer.
REMINDER:
As mentioned in the school agenda, students are expected to complete and
submit the Culminating Activity on the day assigned by the teacher.
The LATE policy does NOT apply to Final Culminating Activities. If a
student is not present on the day(s) assigned for the Culminating Activity,
they will receive a mark of ZERO for that portion of the task.
