Summary of this activity (to be completed at the end assessment cycle for this activity)

Assessments were complete during both the Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 workshops. The summary of findings is as follows: 1. There was a larger shift in confidence
from "Fairly Confident" for 98% of the participants. 2. Overall, the participants had a general understanding of the Wage Gap as it relates to gender. 3. More
seniors were represented during the Spring workshop which was held in May just before graduation, meaning these students were most likely still in the job
serach process.
Action (i.e. what will change in the department or program as a result of the data collected):
1. Participation was down in the spring, however only one workhsop was offered late in the semester. Action- Implement at least two workshops per semester and
have one earlier during the spring as seniors are entering the job search process. 2. Marketing- advertise and market the program to a wider range of colleges and
majors. Include various types of marketing tools (social media, email, print materials). 3. Utilize technology for the pre-test- make it more interactive, possibly use
Student Response tool. 4. Many seniors were represented, but the information can also be very useful to students during graduate school and students of other
classifications- market to more than seniors. 4. Implement a follow-up to see how many students actually utilize the skills learned
