Method

Parchment-affiliated high schools that are sent electronically and compare to previous year data

1. December 15

2. February 1

3. May 1

Goals 1, 2, 3

& 4

Results:

In September 2014, the Office of Admissions joined into a partnership with Parchment to receive transcripts submitted through the Parchment transcript service in electronic format. This would allow high school transcript data to be populated into PeopleSoft more efficiently and without manual intervention. Testing this new process lasted will into the Spring semester, well beyond the anticipated testing timeframe. Because electronic delivery into PeopleSoft was not implemented until mid-Spring, the outreach campaign to high schools was not enacted. In addition, to date, Parchment has not created templates for feeder high schools so that transcript data from feeder institutions can be populated electronically into PeopleSoft. Without the marketing campaign and without the templates needed from

Parchment, the Office of Admissions received 39 high school transcripts electronically through the Parchment transcript network.

Action:

The Office of Admissions will continue to work with Parchment to create templates for feeder high schools. In addition, the Office of Admissions will evaluate the feasibility of continuing a partnership with Parchment.
