Look for plump berries with a natural
shine, rich red color, bright green caps,
and a sweet smell.
Strawberries are a great source of
Vitamin C which helps the body heal
cuts and wounds and helps lower the
risk of infection and sickness.
You can enjoy strawberries fresh,
frozen, and even dried – and with any
meal or snack!
A ½ cup of sliced strawberries is about
four large strawberries or one cupped
handful.

in the United States.
Berry Banana Split
Ingredients
1 small banana, peeled
½ cup lowfat vanilla yogurt
1 tablespoon lowfat granola
½ cup sliced strawberries (fresh or frozen)
