清渓川復元事業

概要
Summary
清渓川復元事業はソウル市街における高架道
路を含む構造物を解体し、河川環境を回復した
事業である。
清渓川復元にあたっては、バスレーンの増設、
スマートカードの導入などの総合的な交通政策
により都心部の自動車交通を減少させ、また漢
江からの導水により清渓川の水質も改善され、
市民のレクリエーションの場、観光資源として
の重要性も増している。また交通の騷音も大き
く減少し、風道も新たに作られ、都市環境が改
善した。復元前と比べて清渓川一帯の都心温度
が3.6度程度低下し、都市ヒートアイランド現象
が緩和された。清渓川の復元により緑地帯が形
成され、魚類が3種から14種、昆虫類が7種から
41種に増加した。さらに、鳥類も18種観察され
ている。
Cheong Gye Cheon Restoration Project is to
restore the river environment by removing the
elevated expressways crossing over the river in
Seoul.
Due to the improvement of the environment,
which is mainly brought about by a comprehensive
transport policy, the pollutants have decreased in the
air and airways have been newly installed, hence,
the city has gained the clear air back.
Along with the expansion of green zone in the
urban areas, the kinds of fish have increased from 3
to 14, and the kinds of insects have increased from 7
to 41. Also, 18 kinds of birds have been found.
