ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Please answer the following questions on a separate sheet of paper.
1. Why would you like to work for the Institute as a videographer?
2. What skills and experience relative to videography and other knowledge, abilities, and
experience could you bring to the Institute? Please specifically describe your experience
with design for print and Web as well as production.
3. The Institute needs videographers sporadically. We have video and audio editing
needs more frequently. Would you be interested in being an “on call” videographer, or
would you prefer a regular commitment, such as 5 hours per week? What other
commitments do you have (classes, extra-curricular activities, athletics, employment,
etc.)? What days / times would you be able to work at the Institute?
4. Do you have a specific interest in journalism, film/documentaries, social media, public
policy, and/or social justice? If so, please explain.
5. How did you find out about the Institute and this position?
6. Do you have a car? Most of our video assignments are off campus. If you are only
interested in video or audio editing, a car will not be necessary.
7. Please feel free to tell us anything else you’d like us to know about yourself that doesn’t
fall into the above questions/answers.
