Posted 08/25/10 Kristen Contos Krueger Wins Fellowship The Women's Studies Program at University of Houston recently awarded History Department Ph.D. candidate Kristen Contos Krueger a Blanche Espy Chenoweth Graduate Fellowship. Ms. Contos Krueger will use the fellowship to further the completion of her dissertation, which is under the direction of Dr. Landon Storrs and titled "'Problem Girls to 'Welfare Queens:' Public Policy and Teen Pregnancy at the end of the Twentieth Century.' The University of Houston History Department Faculty heartily congratulates her for this latest accomplishment.
