Why Accounting?
• For those with an interest and aptitude for accounting, it
offers a varied and rewarding career path with lots of
opportunity to progress to top management level

more than 50% of ALL graduate jobs were recruited in the
area of accountancy and financial management (Grad Ireland

find enough high quality graduates each year

• Moves on to considering financial reporting: how do we present

financial information
• AY209 required to obtain exemptions from Chartered
Accountants Ireland, ACCA, CIMA and CPA
