BTT101 - Resume Writing
The resume is a selling tool that outlines your skills and experiences so an employer can see, at a glance,
how you can contribute to the employer's workplace. Your resume is basically your ‘ticket’ to getting the
job.
The first hurdle your resume has to pass is whether it ends up in the "consider file" or the "reject file"-may take less than thirty seconds.
Before even actually reading what’s on your resume, an employer would look at how well the resume is
done up in terms of its design and layout.
Therefore your resume must be properly structured to ensure it at least reaches the “consider file”
