Instructional Specialist in Educational Support (Grades K-8) We are seeking an instructional specialist to teach children with a range of disabilities emphasizing support for educational needs. Candidates must have empathy for, and a genuine interest in, developing positive educational experiences for K–8 students with Learning Disabilities. Strong interpersonal skills a necessity in order to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and others to create and implement individualized plans. Current certification in a field of Special Education is required and a Master’s Degree is preferred. Science Teacher (Middle School, Grades 6-8) We are seeking a thoughtful and dynamic teacher of science to join our middle school. Candidates should have successful teaching experience in middle or high school science classrooms and experience in science curriculum design and/or implementation. The educator filling this role will be responsible for continuing to develop a program that features progressive ideas about science instruction with a strong vision for innovative approaches to science education. A Master’s Degree and either middle or high school science teaching certification are required. Language Arts Teacher (Middle School, Grades 6-8) We are seeking an exciting and engaging language arts teacher for our middle school. Candidates should have successful teaching experience in middle or high school language arts. The successful candidate will have a strong vision for dynamic approaches to Language Arts education, strong collaborative skills, and a willingness to support educational research. Strong skills in oral and written communication will be required to frame and present the complex world of Language Arts pedagogy to a variety of audiences. A Master’s Degree and either middle or high school language arts teaching certification are required.
