Christopher M. Mainka, CPM Christopher Mainka has served as the manager of the Hobby Center for Public Policy's Survey Research Institute for fifteen years and has been employed with the University of Houston for over 28 years. Mr. Mainka is responsible for the hiring, training and supervising of the operators and manages the telephone and internet survey data collection. In addition to his bachelor of science degree in political science earned at the University of Houston, he has also received professional training in sampling, response rates, training techniques and monitoring at various International Field Directors and Technology Conferences. Mr. Mainka is a Certified Public Manager (CPM) and a technology instructor for the Hobby Center for Public Policy’s CPM program. He has worked as a volunteer at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo for over 15 years, serving on the Barbecue and Calf Scramble Committees in different organizational roles.
