IB Coordinators Recognized
Our own Deb Wadden, who is the IB PYP (International Baccalaureate
Primary Years Programme) Coordinator at Bassett and Hilliard, and Colleen
Mudore, who is Coordinator at Dover and Holly Lane, were recognized at last
week's School Board meeting. In addition to their hard work in implementing
the IB curriculum in our elementary schools, they recently coordinated an
International Baccalaureate workshop training weekend for educators. Learn
more about our IB program here.
Restoring Bus Service
Bus service will be restored for students who live more than 1 mile from
Bassett starting Monday, March 31 (right after spring break). The
Transportation Department will be sending letters this week to all impacted
families.

Our current traffic patterns will remain. Cars will still come in the
back drive (from Woodmill Dr.) for pick up and drop off, and buses
will use the front loop.

We will still allow students to be dropped off in the morning at 7:45
am at the back door. They will continue to come into the building
and be supervised in the cafeteria.
Thank you for your ongoing cooperation at arrival and dismissal time.

Lauren Backus's Message
Dollars for Scholars
The staff held on to win the
"Dollars for Scholars" basketball
game on Friday night, 77-67.
Congratulations to Mr. Hodge and
the staff team, and to the student
team for a game well-played. I
also want to recognize the talented
Bassett Honors Choir, directed by
Mrs. Schillinger, who sang the
National Anthem.
It was wonderful to see so many Bassett families in attendance! Thank you
for your support of this fun and important event that raises scholarship funds
for WHS seniors. Special thanks to Connie Sinreich and Cris Kennedy, who
made it easy for Bassett families to purchase pre-sale game tickets.
