He has been a pastor for 27 years in the Archdiocese of Hyderabad where he has served in four big parishes of the Archdiocese. As a young assistant priest at St Mary's Church in Secunderabad, he helped Mother Teresa set up her first house for abandoned children in the Archdiocese of Hyderabad. Father Studden also served as chaplain to the Charismatic Renewal movement and has organised various prayer meetings, conventions, all night vigils, Life in the Spirit seminars and Bible study sessions. He has also been retreat leader to priests, religious and lay people. Father Studden has also worked in the Middle East, England and Canada.
