REPAIRS COMPLETED AT MOODY TOWERS
Houston, Texas, January 18, 2011 – After a temporary malfunction in its heating system,
Moody Towers Residence Hall is now back to normal. A new hot water pump has been
installed, and maintenance is currently monitoring floor temperatures to make sure the
system is working efficiently.
The previous hot water pump failed on Friday, Jan. 14, leaving Moody Towers
temporarily without heat. Residential Life and Housing (RLH) staff acted immediately to
inform returning residents about the problem via email and posted notices in order to
encourage them to delay their move-in. Small heaters were distributed to residents and
staff already on campus.
For updates on the situation, contact the Moody Towers Area Coordinator’s Office at
713-743-6050.
