Definition
Leave time spent away from work (see list of elapsed time codes for
monthly employees or biweekly employees )

People Advantage Self Service - Employee Self Service-employees may
update their personal addresses, personal phone numbers, personal email
addresses, their preferred name, and request primary name changes.

charitable contributions and in the future add exceptions to time sheets.
Employee who reconciles leave request, runs payroll reports, responsible
for submitting timesheets to the Payroll Office.
Employee who approves time entered on a timesheet.
Employee who enters elapsed time (exception time) on timesheet.
In and out time punches.
Time Collection Device - used by biweekly employees to record punched
time.
Time Reporting Codes - used to report elapsed (leave) time in Time &
Labor data entry screens.

Leaves of absence with pay are awarded by the
faculty member's college according to policies
approved by the Provost.
Leave for staff given paid time off for
professional development per BOR Policy
13.06.
eligible for College release time. Eligible
employee can take 3 hours per week to attend
class and these hours are considered time
worked.
Full time benefits eligible employees are
eligible for Fitness release time. Eligible
employee can take 3 hours per week to exercise
and these hours are considered time worked.

serve as a organ donor not to exceed 30
working days in fiscal year. See State
Government code: Sec. 661.916
Employee is allow sufficient time off, without
deduction in salary or accrued leave to donate
blood, with supervisors approval prior to take
time off. See State Government Code: Sec.
661.917

Definition
Reservists called to active duty or training are
entitle to PLOA not to exceed 15 days in a
federal FY (Oct 1 - Sept 30) year. After the 15
days the employee will be placed on LOA.
Employees who have exhausted their leave
report the hours as unpaid leave.
Monthly employees who report unpaid leave
hours, those hours are currently manually
calculated since the number of work days vary
month to Month which affects their rate of pay
for
