Please be sure to call the Hilliard attendance line each day that your child will not be in school. The attendance line is available 24 hours a day. Call 835-6345. The office must confirm each child’s absence for every day that they are not in school. Communication binders will be coming home daily. It really helps when you fill them out. Use the newsletter to expand on our school day by asking what your child did. When they say I don’t remember you can use the information in the newsletter to guide answers. Newsletters and other information are always available on my website which you reach from Westlake’s home page wlake.org. Reminder: Library is on Wednesdays. The only way for the students to become proficient with crayons and scissors is to practice at home too. Announcements: We need toilet paper rolls to make binoculars with. Please send in empty ones.
