Please call me at Hilliard School 899-3075 ext. 2162 or email at mccue@wlake.org if
you ever have a need to contact me.
Please be sure to call the Hilliard attendance line each day that your child will
not be in school. The attendance line is available 24 hours a day. Call 835-6345.
The office must confirm each child’s absence for every day that they are not in
school.
Communication binders will be coming home daily. It really helps when you fill
them out.
Use the newsletter to expand on our school day by asking what your child did. When
they say I don’t remember you can use the information in the newsletter to guide
answers.
Newsletters and other information are always available on my website which you
reach from Westlake’s home page wlake.org.
Reminder: Library is on Wednesdays.
The only way for the students to become proficient with crayons and scissors is to
practice at home too.
Announcements: We need toilet paper rolls to make binoculars with. Please send in
empty ones. Hilliard Elementary Art Show evening of May 4th. Information is on
Hilliard’s website and was sent home. Last Day celebration and Ice Cream Social is
