IPS-G-PI-280(2) FOREWORD The Iranian Petroleum Standards (IPS) reflect the views of the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum and are intended for use in the oil and gas production facilities, oil refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, gas handling and processing installations and other such facilities. ﭘﻴﺶ ﮔﻔﺘﺎر 0 IPS is based on internationally acceptable standards and includes selections from the items stipulated in the referenced standards. They are also supplemented by additional requirements and/or modifications based on the experience acquired by the Iranian Petroleum Industry and the local market availability. The options which are not specified in the text of the standards are itemized in data sheet/s, so that, the user can select his appropriate preferences therein. The IPS standards are therefore expected to be sufficiently flexible so that the users can adapt these standards to their requirements. However, they may not cover every requirement of each project. For such cases, an addendum to IPS Standard shall be prepared by the user which elaborates the particular requirements of the user. This addendum together with the relevant IPS shall form the job specification for the specific project or work. The IPS is reviewed and up-dated approximately every five years. Each standards are subject to amendment or withdrawal, if required, thus the latest edition of IPS shall be applicable The users of IPS are therefore requested to send their views and comments, including any addendum prepared for particular cases to the following address. Of this standard gives technical specifications and general requirements for the fabrication and installation of pipe supports for use in oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industries and is supplement to reference standard MSS-SP89,2003 and shall be read in conjunction with that document. The amendments/supplement to MSS Standard 89 given in clause 7. of this Standard are directly related to the equivalent sections or clauses in MSS Standard 89. For clarity, the section and paragraph numbering of MSS Standard 89 has been used as for as possible. Where clauses in MSS are referenced within this Standard, it shall mean those clauses are amended by this Standard. Clauses in” MSS” that are not amended by this Standard shall remain valid as written. Clamped supports require more maintenance than welded supports. To prevent galvanic corrosion, carbon steel clamps on pipes of other metallic materials shall be separated from the pipe by using a layer of synthetic rubber, glass fibre paper tape or other insulating material between the clamp and the pipe. Clamped supports on hot pipes or on pipes with variable temperature may loosen because of the difference in temperature between the pipe and the clamp. Stainless steel piping shall be protected against zinc embrittlement which may result from molten zinc dripping from galvanized steel during a fire. Hanger supports should not be used in systems with two-phase flow or where excessive vibration may be expected (e.g. near reciprocating compressors). Even then, the friction will be easily increased by slight fouling (e.g. sand or dirt). For these reasons, the use of sliding supports shall be minimized. The clearance between the insulation and the supporting structure shall be at least 50 mm. Cradles and pipe shoes of pipes operating at temperatures above 400 °C shall be insulated from the supporting structure by incombustible insulating blocks of sufficient load-bearing and insulation capabilities. Alternatively, clamped cradles or pipe shoes can be installed around the insulation. Welders and welding procedures used in making repair welds shall be qualified in accordance with Subsection 5.7.1. In installation of hangers following clauses shall be considered. (Mod.) ﻣﺠﻤﻮﻋﻪﻫﺎي ﻋﻤﻮدي و ﻗﺎﺑﻞ ﺗﻨﻈﻴﻤﻲ ﻫﺴﺘﻨﺪ ﻛﻪ ﺷﺎﻣﻞ ﻗﻄﻌﺎت ﻣﻴﻠﻪ آوﻳﺰ )ﻫﻤﺮاه ﻳﺎ ﺑﺪون اﺟﺰاء ﻣﻴﺎﻧﻲ( و ﻗﻄﻌﻪ،اﺗﺼﺎﻟﻲ ﺑﻪ ﺳﺎزه در ﻧﺼﺐ آوﻳﺰﻫﺎ ﻋﺒﺎرات زﻳﺮ ﺑﺎﻳﺪ در.اﺗﺼﺎﻟﻲ ﺑﻪ ﻟﻮﻟﻪ ﻣﻲ ﺑﺎﺷﻨﺪ ()اﺻﻼح .ﻧﻈﺮ ﮔﺮﻓﺘﻪ ﺷﻮﻧﺪ ﻣﺠﻤﻮﻋﻪﻫﺎي ﻓﻨﺮي در ﻣﻮﻗﻌﻴﺘﻲ ﻛﻪ ﻓﻨﺮ آﻧﻬﺎ5-1-5-10 ﻣﻄﺎﺑﻖ آﻧﭽﻪ در ﻧﻘﺸﻪ ﻫﺎي ﺗﻔﺼﻴﻠﻲ ﺗﻜﻴﻪ ﮔﺎه ﻟﻮﻟﻪ و ﻳﺎ ﺗﻘﺎﺿﺎ 10.5.1.5 Spring assemblies shall be shipped to the job site with the springs compressed in the 18 Dec. 2009 / 1388 آذر IPS-G-PI-280(2) installed position as indicated on the pipe support detail drawing and/or requisition. They shall have caution tags attached which warns that the spring locks must be removed before the line is put in service. Additionally, the spring supports shall have the marks "C" or "H" on the casing load indication scale: ﺗﻌﻴﻴﻦ ﮔﺮدﻳﺪه اﺳﺖ ﻓﺸﺮده و در ﺣﺎﻟﺖ ﻧﺼﺐ ﻗﺮار ﮔﺮﻓﺘﻪ اﺳﺖ آﻧﻬﺎ ﺑﺎﻳﺪ داراي ﻳﻚ ﺑﺮﭼﺴﺐ.ﺑﺎﻳﺪ ﺑﻪ ﻣﺤﻞ ﻧﺼﺐ ارﺳﺎل ﮔﺮدﻧﺪ اﻳﻤﻨﻲ اﻟﺼﺎﻗﻲ ﺑﺎﺷﻨﺪ ﻛﻪ اﺧﻄﺎر دﻫﺪ ﻛﻪ ﻗﺒﻞ از اﻳﻨﻜﻪ ﺧﻂ در ﺑﻌﻼوه.ﺳﺮوﻳﺲ ﻗﺮار ﮔﻴﺮد ﺑﺎﻳﺪ ﻗﻔﻠﻬﺎي ﻓﻨﺮ ﺑﺮداﺷﺘﻪ ﺷﻮﻧﺪ ﻧﮕﻬﺪارﻧﺪهﻫﺎي ﻓﻨﺮي ﺑﺎﻳﺪ روي ﺑﺪﻧﻪ در ﻣﺤﻞ درﺟﻪ ﺑﻨﺪي ﻧﺸﺎن :“ ﺑﺎﺷﻨﺪC” “ﻳﺎH” دﻫﻨﺪه ﺑﺎر اﻋﻤﺎﻟﻲ داراي دو ﻧﺸﺎﻧﮕﺮ - Mark "C" indicates the cold position of the spring when the line is at ambient temperature but filled with its actual service fluid. For tank lines filled with the actual service fluid, it indicates the position when the tank is empty and has zero settlement. ﻧﺸﺎن دﻫﻨﺪه ﻣﻮﻗﻌﻴﺖ ﺳﺮد ﻓﻨﺮ ﻣﻲ ﺑﺎﺷﺪC ﻧﺸﺎﻧﮕﺮوﻗﺘﻲ ﻛﻪ ﺧﻂ در دﻣﺎي ﻣﺤﻴﻂ ﺑﻮده وﻟﻲ ﺑﺎ ﺳﻴﺎل ﺣﻘﻴﻘﻲ ﺑﺮاي ﺧﻄﻮط ﻣﺨﺎزن ﭘﺮ ﺷﺪه.ﻋﻤﻠﻴﺎﺗﻲ ﺧﻮد ﭘﺮ ﺷﺪه اﺳﺖ ﺑﺎ ﺳﻴﺎل ﺣﻘﻴﻘﻲ ﻋﻤﻠﻴﺎﺗﻲ ﻧﺸﺎن دﻫﻨﺪه وﺿﻌﻴﺘﻲ اﺳﺖ ﻛﻪ .ﻣﺨﺰن ﺧﺎﻟﻲ و در ﻣﻮﻗﻌﻴﺖ ﺻﻔﺮ ﻗﺮار دارد ﻧﺸﺎن دﻫﻨﺪه ﻣﻮﻗﻌﻴﺘﻬﺎي ﻋﻤﻠﻴﺎﺗﻲ ﻓﻨﺮH ﻧﺸﺎﻧﮕﺮ ﺑﺮاي ﺧﻄﻮط ﻣﺨﺎزن اﻳﻦ ﻧﺸﺎﻧﮕﺮ ﻣﻮﻗﻌﻴﺘﻲ اﺳﺖ.ﻣﻲﺑﺎﺷﺪ ( )اﺿﺎﻓﻪ.ﻛﻪ ﻣﺨﺰن ﭘﺮ و ﻧﺸﺴﺖ آن ﺻﻮرت ﮔﺮﻓﺘﻪ ﺑﺎﺷﺪ ﻧﮕﻬﺪارﻧﺪهﻫﺎي ﻓﻨﺮي در ﺣﺎﻟﻴﻜﻪ ﻓﻨﺮ در ﻣﺤﻞ ﺧﻮد6-1-5-10 اﻳﻦ ﺻﻔﺤﺎت ﻳﺎ ﺧﺎرﻫﺎي ﻗﻔﻞ.ﻗﻔﻞ ﺷﺪه اﺳﺖ ﺑﺎﻳﺪ ﻧﺼﺐ ﺷﻮﻧﺪ ﻛﻨﻨﺪه ﻓﻨﺮ ﻧﺒﺎﻳﺪ ﻗﺒﻞ از آزﻣﺎﻳﺶ ﻓﺸﺎر اﻳﺴﺘﺎﺋﻲ و ﻋﺎﻳﻖ ﺑﻨﺪي ()اﺿﺎﻓﻪ .ﺳﺎﻣﺎﻧﻪ ﻟﻮﻟﻪ ﻛﺸﻲ ﺑﺮداﺷﺘﻪ ﺷﻮﻧﺪ - Mark "H" indicates the operation positions of the spring. For tank lines, it indicates the position when the tank is filled and has settled. (Add.) 10.5.1.6 Spring supports shall be installed with the spring locks in place. These spring locking plates or pins shall not be removed before hydrostatic testing and insulation of the piping system is completed. (Add.) ﻣﻌﻤﻮﻻً ﻛﻠﻴﻪ وﺳﺎﻳﻞ ﻛﻤﻜﻲ ﺑﺮاي ﺳﺎﺧﺖ و ﻧﺼﺐ7-1-5-10 ﺑﺎزﻣﺎﻧﺪهﻫﺎي ﺟﻮﺷﻜﺎري، ﺗﻜﻴﻪ ﮔﺎﻫﻬﺎي ﻣﻮﻗﺘﻲ،ﻣﺜﻞ ﻗﻔﻠﻬﺎي ﻓﻨﺮ ﺑﻬﺮ ﺣﺎل وﻗﺘﻲ ﻛﻪ.و ﻏﻴﺮه ﺑﺎﻳﺪ ﻗﺒﻞ از راه اﻧﺪازي ﺑﺮداﺷﺘﻪ ﺷﻮﻧﺪ ﻧﻴﺮوي ﻓﻨﺮ ﺑﺎﻋﺚ ﺻﺪﻣﻪ اﺣﺘﻤﺎﻟﻲ ﺑﻪ ﺗﺠﻬﻴﺰات آﺳﻴﺐ ﭘﺬﻳﺮ ﻣﺘﺼﻠﻪ روي ﺧﻂ ﺧﺎﻟﻲ ﺧﻮاﻫﺪ ﺷﺪ ﺗﺎ زﻣﺎن ﭘﺮ ﺷﺪن ﺧﻂ ﺑﺎ .ﺳﻴﺎل ﺣﻘﻴﻘﻲ ﻋﻤﻠﻴﺎﺗﻲ ﻗﻔﻞﻫﺎي ﻓﻨﺮ ﺑﺎﻳﺪ در ﻣﺤﻞ ﺑﺎﻗﻲ ﺑﻤﺎﻧﻨﺪ ﺗﻜﻴﻪ ﮔﺎه ﻣﺮﺑﻮﻃﻪ و ﻧﻘﺸﻪ ﺗﻜﻴﻪ ﮔﺎه ﺑﺎﻳﺪ داراي اﺧﻄﺎر "در ﺷﺮاﻳﻂ ﺧﺎﻟﻲ ﺑﻮدن ﻗﻔﻞ ﺷﻮد" ﺑﻮده و ﻗﻔﻞﻫﺎ ﺑﺎﻳﺪ در ﺿﻤﻦ .ﻋﻤﻠﻴﺎت ﺑﻪ ﻧﮕﻬﺪارﻧﺪه ﻓﻨﺮي ﻣﺘﺼﻞ ﺷﻮﻧﺪ ()اﺿﺎﻓﻪ 10.5.1.7 Normally, all construction aids such as spring locks, temporary supports, welding tracks, etc. shall be removed prior to commissioning. However, when the spring force on the empty line will cause possible damage to connected vulnerable equipment, the spring locks shall remain in position until the line is filled with the actual service fluid. The relevant support and support drawing shall bear the warning "lock Against Empty Conditions" and the locks shall be attached with the spring support during operation. (Add.) 10.5.1.8 Hanger rods for lines subject to expansion/contraction of more than 75 mm shall be set out of plumb, equal to half of the calculated travel of the pipe at the point of support, in the opposite direction to the travel as indicated on the support detail drawing, the piping arrangement drawing and/or the isometric drawing. (Mod.) ، ﻫﺪاﻳﺖ ﻛﻨﻨﺪهﻫﺎي ﻟﻮﻟﻪ ﻣﻲﺗﻮاﻧﻨﺪ از ﻧﻮع ﻟﻐﺰﻧﺪه1-4-5-10 ()اﺻﻼح .ﻏﻠﻄﺸﻲ ﻳﺎ ﻏﻴﺮه ﺑﺎﺷﻨﺪ 10.5.4.4 Lines 6 and 7 7 و6 ﺳﻄﺮﻫﺎي4-4-5-10 ﺗﻜﻴﻪ ﮔﺎه ﻫﺎي زﻳﻨﻲ ﻳﺎ،ﺟﻬﺖ ﺟﻠﻮﮔﻴﺮي از ﺻﺪﻣﻪ دﻳﺪن ﻋﺎﻳﻖ ()اﺻﻼح .ﻛﻔﺸﻚﻫﺎ ﺑﺎﻳﺪ ﺑﻪ ﻟﻮﻟﻪ ﻛﺸﻲ ﻣﺘﺼﻞ ﮔﺮدﻧﺪ Saddles or pipe shoes shall be attached to piping to prevent damage to insulation.
