NO DEBATE, FACILITIES DID GREAT
There is no debating that the Facilities team was in full force to prepare,
manage and clean-up from the GOP Republican Debate held on campus
Thursday, February 25. A big thank you to all of those staff members
that helped put UH on the map as host to this national event. It is an
awesome feeling to know that no matter everyone’s views on the political front, when called upon, we can always work together to do what is
necessary. Keeping the facilities at their best is our job and everyone did
just that.

Facilities Call Center, graduated May 2014
Inspiration to volunteer for Team Captain: March of Dimes does great things for babies
and their parents. I think it is important to give back to the community and I felt that this was my
opportunity to help others.
Best part of working for KAS: My favorite part is getting to meet new students, staff, and faculty members from all
over campus. Since most new people come to us to pick up their new keys when they first join the university we get
to welcome them.
Bucket list: Visit as many different countries and cities as possible.

I want to thank everyone who was involved in the success of the 1st Annual
General Maintenance Chili Cook-Off.
We had a great turn out and everyone had
a blast. Each chili was unique and made the competition fun and exciting. We
hope to involve other interested participants in the future. I can’t wait until
next year!
