Global Volunteer Leaders Announced
July 1, 2011 – Dallas, TX – Meeting Professionals International (MPI) announces its 2011-2012 Board of
Directors, MPI Volunteer Chairs and MPI Foundation Global Board of Trustees, for the fiscal year July 1, 2011
to June 30, 2012.
Sebastien Tondeur, CEO MCI Group Holding SA, will assume the role as the 2011-2012 chairman of the MPI
Board of Directors. Kevin Olsen, senior partner of One Smooth Stone, will lead the 2011-2012 MPI
Foundation Global Board of Trustees.

appointment to these leadership positions strengthens MPI’s continued delivery of unique value and
community for our members.” said Bruce MacMillan, president and chief executive officer of MPI.
Tondeur began service on the MPI Board of Directors in 2006 and served as a board member until 2008. He
joined the MPI executive committee in 2008, and was elected chairman-elect in 2010. As CEO of MCI’s head
office in Geneva, his responsibilities include company strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, strategic
meeting management, marketing and key account management. MCI has 45 offices in 22 different
countries.
Serving on the MPI Foundation Board of Trustees since 2003, Olsen joined the Executive Committee in 2007
and was elected chairman-elect in 2010. He is President and Principal of One Smooth Stone, an event and
communication agency. He has an accomplished career in the events industry that spans more than 25
years.
