NOVEMBER: THE MONTH OF THE HOLY SOULS IN PURGATORY The Church dedicates the month of November to the remembrance of all the holy souls in Purgatory. As baptized Catholics we should be praying for the faithful departed, especially since our prayers can help these souls get to Heaven, where they can in turn intercede for us. Eternal Rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon their face. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
