• The Delta Iota Chapter of Phi Beta Delta, Honor Society for International Scholars will host this event honoring J-1
Exchange Visitors, Fulbright Scholars, Reciprocal Educational Exchange Students, and Faculty who conducted
study abroad programs. Selected speakers will share about their research and/or studies at the University of
Houston. An award will be given to an outstanding study abroad program.

experiences.

• Council of Ethnic Organizations and International student organizations will have booths where information about
countries, customs will be shared. The organizations will be able to sell international food and promote their
organization.
• Office of International Studies and Programs, International Student and Scholar Services Office, and Language and
Culture Center will have tables to represent themselves.
• The United States Postal Service will have a booth to assist U.S. citizens to apply for passports.

University of Houston.
University Career Services staff will present information on interviewing tips and resume writing.
A Board Certified Immigration Attorney will share information about the H-1B visa and Employment-Based
Immigration.
