lead well Learning to lead yourself is just as important as learning to lead others. Through LeadWELL, students will learn the importance of self-care and balance as it relates to leadership. Topics such as time management, stress management, self-care and more will be explored. Development of these skills are crucial to a healthy life and organization. To complete the LeadWell program, participants must complete 6 credits (2 core courses and 4 electives). Self-Care: A LeadUH Workshop (1 hour) 1 This workshop will introduce participants to the benefits of integrating self-care behaviors into daily life, particularly within the context of balancing various leadership roles and responsibilities. By participating in this workshop, students can expect to learn practical strategies for reducing stress and learning to lead with a greater sense of empathy, both for themselves and others. Students will learn the core principles of effective leadership, including development of interpersonal skills and the importance of personal well-being. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in group discussions and activities involving communication, conflict resolution, and appropriate use of assertive language.
