Log in to the above site, and type in “ youth criminal justice act ” in the search box to obtain documents on the topic.
Library e-Resources: Criminal Justice Collection
Log on to the St. Roch Library web page, click into Online Databases , and then Library e-
Resources , click on Subject Specific under secondary resources, select Law & Justice, and then Criminal Justice Collection .
Once you are in the Criminal Justice Collection database, follow these steps to do an
Advanced Search:
1. Select the yellow “ Advanced Search ” tab at the top of the screen. The Advanced Search screen will come up.
2. Select “ Document Title ” from the first drop-down menu. Then in the first search box next to it
, enter the term ” youth criminal justice act
”.
(note: by doing this, the database will search for you only the articles that have the term “youth criminal justice act” in their title)
3. Under the “Search” button, you’ll see “ Limit results ”, select “ to document with full text ”
(note: this will reduce the number of records retrieved by avoiding the articles that do not have full text)

4. Click on the green Search button.
Many articles with the term “ Youth Criminal Justice Act ” in the title will be shown. Read the titles and sub-titles to find the relevant articles that will help you answer your questions.
Log on to the St. Roch Library web page, click into Online Databases , and then Library e-
Resources , click on General under secondary resources, and select Canada in Context .
Once you are in the Canada in Context database , enter “ youth criminal justice act ” in the search box found at the top right-hand corner of the screen, then click the search button.
Scroll down the result screen to find the following two articles:
