OVERNIGHT GRADE 9 RETREAT
At present we see indistinctly, as in a mirror, but then face to face. At present I know partially; then I
shall know fully, as I am fully known. So faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of
these is love.

As a body is one though it has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though many, are one body,
so also Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves
or free persons, and we were all given to drink of one Spirit.

The Retreat is a school-wide commitment to enable all Grade Nine students to enter as
easily as possible into the Catholic culture and community of Robert F. Hall Catholic
Secondary School. This year, The Retreat is held at Teen Ranch, Caledon, ON. On
Mon.-Tues. Sept. 8-9 (girls) Tues.-Wed. Sept. 9-10 (boys), 2014.
The Retreat






Creates a smooth transition socially, academically and spiritually.
Provides opportunity for realizing students’ spiritual and faithful growth based on
our Gospel values and the social teachings of the Catholic Church.
Initiates lasting relationships between classmates, student leaders and staff.
Develops and mentors student leaders.
Prepares students for becoming active, faithful, contributing members of the
Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School Community.
Please Note: THERE WILL BE NO WATER ACTIVITIES.
Link Crew, chosen from the RF Hall community will be co-running all programs with
and under the supervision of RF Hall and Teen Ranch staff.
The cost for the camp is $120.00 This package includes all the necessary forms
required for your child to participate. All forms must be completed, enclosed in an
envelope and delivered to RF Hall or to your child’s elementary school office. PLEASE
HAVE THESE FORMS COMPLETED WITH YOUR DEPOSIT BY JUNE 25, 2014.

The cost of The Retreat is $120.00
The fee includes all activities, overnight accommodations, meals and
snacks, the services of the Teen Ranch instructors, and all GST and PST.
Please note that alternative financial arrangements may be made with Mr.
T. Wisnicki Principal, Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School.

 Grade 9 students attend ORIENTATION DAY on Thursday, August 28,
2014; 9am-2pm. at Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School.
 While students are in the orientation session, Grade 9 parents attend
the information session about The Retreat.

Feel free to bring anything else you think would make your stay more
comfortable. Musical instruments are welcomed and ENCOURAGED.
However, CD/MP3 Players, hand-held Video Games, Cell Phones and other
personal electronic devices are DISCOURAGED. Please note that you are
responsible for ALL your personal belongings while at Teen Ranch and
Teen Ranch is NOT responsible for loss, damage or theft.
