Class of 2010
Graduate Report
Calvin College Career Development
Methodology
This report includes Calvin College graduates from December 2009 through August 2010.
The statistics in this report are based on survey information received through multiple
sources. Students were offered an incentive gift card of $15 to the campus store for the
following reporting methods.
 February 2010: Senior Salute form
 Spring 2010 – Fall 2010: online report form
 May 2010: Alumni survey as students picked up their graduation gown
To gather additional information, in January 2011, department chairs and faculty were
asked for assistance in gathering information related to graduates who had not reported
their activity. In February 2011, the Career Development Office followed up with graduates
using Calvin’s Alumni network, uKnight. In March, the remaining grads were contacted again
through uKnight, LinkedIn, e-mail, and Facebook. A final attempt to contact the grads was
made in April.
Internship information was obtained from the graduate survey and the career college wide
internship database.
