The Faculty Committee on Libraries met once a semester to hear reports from the various
units of the library system. These reports focused on the library budget, new expansion
for Rare Books and Special Collections and South Carolina Political Collections, building
renovations, Library 100 Course, 24 hour library access, library initiatives for FY 06-07,
Gamecock Power Search, PASCAL Delivers, Scan and Deliver, and book delivery.
Jill Michels will serve as Chair of the Faculty Committee on Libraries for 2007-08.
