By: Landon Dubes Offense • Score mainly with this team • Produces most of your in game statistics Defense • Prevents other teams from scoring • Creates the turnovers to give the ball back to your offense • Used mostly for kicking and covering kicks. • Important part of the game • Most games are won and lost on Special teams • Offense: Quarterback, Running Back, and Left tackle • Defense: Defensive line man, Middle Linebacker, and Strong Safety • Quarterback: responsible for getting the entire team in the best position to gain positive yards. • Running Back: keep the defense on their heels by running the ball directly at them. • Left Tackle: makes sure that the Quarterback doesn’t get sacked from his back side • Defensive Lineman: put pressure on the Quarterback and stop the Running Backs close to the line of Scrimmage. • Middle linebacker: line up the defense and stop the Running Back • Strong Safety: read the Quarterback and try to figure out where he is going to throw the football.
