summer and are ready to participate in a full 11/12 TRiO-SSS year!
TRiO-SSS News
Professional Tutoring will offered in English, math, science, and the social
sciences fall semester. Don’t wait to sign up - tutoring begins September 12th!

We will be accepting applications for the TRiO-SSS Grant beginning Monday,
September 19th. Please stop by the Learning Center if you are interested in
applying. You must have earned at least 12 credits, have attended the Welcome
Back Orientation, and complete a one-page essay to apply for the Grant. After
your application has been reviewed, a SSS Coordinator will contact you if you
are eligible to receive the Grant.
The A’s and B’s Jar will return for fall and winter semesters! Be sure to turn in
those A’s and B’s!
Coordinator Chat days are every Tuesday of each month! Stop by to inform
your Coordinator of your progress and earn 50 Participation Points!
Our first First Friday Meeting will take place Friday, October 7th in the Genesee
Room from 12 pm to 2 pm. The meeting’s topic will be a MCC’s Code of
Conduct presented by the Registrar and the Dean of Counseling and Student
Development. Call 232 4696 to reserve your seat.
Just a reminder…
Appointments are required to speak with Coordinators Mondays and Thursdays
of each week. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are walk-in days.
Have you had a phone number or address change over the summer? Make sure to
change your contact information with your Coordinator and the College. This
can be done at the Registration Office, Prahl Center, lower level.
