Officer reports
President Billy Stephens
Congrats to Mallory Treece who is our new PR committee head and Jane will once again be
Director of PR. Also JD Shadburne and Kevin Adams will be up next week as Presidential
appointment for Senate. March 2 is the deadline for application and the elections will be March
27-28.
Speaker Egerer: All senators have to run again for next year.
March 25 is the SGA sponsored baseball game and we might be getting the party deck. We will
be moved to DUC room 310 the week after spring break. I am passing around a signup sheet
for the Food Service Committee which will be on February 23 in the afternoon sometime, not
sure of the time yet. Kenny and I have been working with Dr. Ardrey to sent students to the
debate watch next year.
Executive Vice President Kendrick Bryan
Remember that every seat is open in the fall and every senator must reapply in the fall. Your
term ends in May. Billy and I sat with Dr. Ardrey about sending students to the debate watch,
mock election, the DNC, and the RNC as well as the inauguration. We are looking into transcript
vouchers so students can get free transcript in Potter hall. I am also talking to Keyana about a
library program in the library during finals week.
Administrative Vice President Devon Hilderbrandt
We have a new bill up today so take a look. It needs to be passed today because three of those
organizations need money by the middle of March. I have a budget overview but if you want
detailed run down email me. There is $10,000 in general Senate funding. If you have any
questions please meet with me.
Speaker Kaylee Egerer
Happy Valentine’s Day! Please leave your agenda if you don’t want it so I can recycle them.
Way to go with legislation, we have four pieces up for first read.
Staff Reports
Chief of Staff- Katie Stillwell
I apologize for my tardiness. I hear that last week was success and I encourage you to move
forward with ideas. We have been working to make sure everyone is aware of the budget. If you
don’t know something please ask those questions. My goal is to work on officer transitions so
when you feel that you're ready to move up a leadership role you will have something to look at
that is more than just the constitution or by laws.
Director of Academic and Student Affairs -Travis Taylor
I am working on HODS applications and the deadline should be set soon. I am working with
Brittany on a study away bill for next week. Legislation looks good so keep it up.
IT Director- Cory Dodds
I have added a tab on the SGA site called "Links for Students." I put the Big Red Dollar
locations link under that tab as well as a link to information about the DUC Renovation. If
anyone has any other suggestions feel free to email them to me. Also, on Friday, I had a
meeting with the Registrar regarding transcript vouchers. Everyone is on board, however, they
have requested that I provide them with a written proposal. I plan to meeting with them again
later in the week to hopefully get this finished up. Go Tops.

come out and support him.

figuring things out but once Fresh moves out then they will most likely be moving the Food
Court into the tent. DUC renovation will be done by July 4, 2014.
