Funding for Concert Headlined by Cage the Elephant on September 21, 2011
PURPOSE:
For the Student Government Association of Western Kentucky University to
allocate up to but no more than $3000 as funding for the fall semester concert
headlined by Cage the Elephant.
WHEREAS: The money will come from general senate funding, and
WHEREAS: The event will begin at 8 p.m. CT on September 21, 2011 on South Lawn, and
WHEREAS: The funding will be used to help co- sponsor a free concert for Western Kentucky
University students and other members of the public, and
WHEREAS: Other co-sponsors of the event include the Campus Activities Board and the
Starry Nights Music Festival, and
THEREFORE:
Be it resolved that the Student Government Association of Western
Kentucky University will allocate up to but no more than $3000 for the
funding of the fall semester concert headlined by Cage the Elephant.
