Funding for the organizations of WKU Mastermind Chess Club and Stepping Out
on Faith Ministries, Inc. from Organizational Aid appropriations
PURPOSE:
For the Student Government Association of Western Kentucky University to
allocate $1000.00 to the organizations of WKU Mastermind Chess Club and
Stepping Out on Faith Ministries, Inc. from Organizational Aid appropriations.
WHEREAS: WKU Mastermind Chess Club would be allocated $500.00 to fund their scholastic
chess tournament, which would allow local primary school students to participate
in a chess tournament and enhance their playing ability, and
WHEREAS: Stepping Out on Faith Ministries, Inc. would be allocated $500.00 to fund
conference room rental and advertisements for an inspirational religious event to
be held in Bowling Green, the event will be open to the public and all students to
participate.
THEREFORE:
Be it resolved that the Student Government Association of Western
Kentucky University will allocate $1000.00 for the organizations of WKU
Mastermind Chess Club and Stepping Out on Faith Ministries, Inc. from
Organizational Aid appropriations.
