Funding for the purchase of two Kindle Fire HD’s to be given as
awards for the Western Kentucky University Student Research
Conference.
PURPOSE: For the Student Government Association of Western Kentucky
University to allocate $423.98 for the purchase of two Kindle Fire
HD’s to be given as awards for the Western Kentucky University
Student Research Conference.
WHEREAS: The money will come from Senate discretionary allocations, and
WHEREAS: The Western Kentucky University Student Research Conference
encourage student involvement in scholarly activities, and
WHEREAS: The purchase of these Kindle Fire HD’s would go as awards for
students that show adequate work within their research topic, and
WHEREAS: These awards would provide a great reward for students that show
adequate work in their research topics, and possibly gain student
interest in research during their time here at Western Kentucky
University.
THEREFORE:
Be it resolved that the Student Government Association of
Western Kentucky University will allocate $423.98 for the
purchase of two Kindle Fire HD’s to be given as awards for
the Western Kentucky University Student Research
