Bill 9-13-F. Funding for the Hilltopper Organization of Latin American Students, Western
Kentucky University Wesley Foundation, WKU AID, and the WKU Student Chapter of the
Kentucky Tennessee branch of the American Society for Microbiology.
PURPOSE:
For the Student Government Association of Western Kentucky University to
allocate $1740.00 to the Hilltopper Organization of Latin American Students,
Western Kentucky University Wesley Foundation, WKU AID, and the WKU
Student Chapter of the Kentucky Tennessee branch of the American Society for
Microbiology.
WHEREAS: The Hilltopper Organization of Latin American Students will be allocated
$500.00 to purchase professional polo shirts for their members, and
WHEREAS: The Western Kentucky University Wesley Foundation will be allocated $500.00
to go towards the cost of a computer for their worship services, and
WHEREAS: WKU Aid will be allocated $500.00 to go towards the cost of a community
garden, materials for their colony collapse event, a canning demonstration, and
promotional materials for the group, and
WHEREAS: The WKU Student Chapter fot eh Kentucky Tennessee branch of the American
Society of Microbiology will be allocated $240.00 to assist in student
memberships to the National American Society of Microbiology and office
supplies, and
THEREFORE:
Be it resolved that the Student Government Association of Western
Kentucky University will allocate $1740.00 to the Hilltopper Organization
of Latin American Students, Western Kentucky University Wesley
Foundation, WKU AID, and the WKU Student Chapter of the Kentucky
Tennessee branch of the American Society for Microbiology.
