Students, we will be spending three days in the media center so you can research an important figure and event from the Civil War. You may put this information in a

PowerPoint, brochure, poster board, 3-D models, etc… These project due dates will be given to individual classes. You will need to include the following information:

Important Individuals

-Background information on the individual.

-What role did this person play in the civil war?

-Find out how their efforts may have affected the civil war.

-List some interesting facts about the individual.

Event:

-What happened during this event?

-Did this event have an affect on the civil war? Explain why or why not.

-When did the event take place?

-If it’s a battle make sure and list where it took place, who won, number of casualties for each side, leaders during the battle for each side, any strategic positions……

Make sure and list any sources that you use to find the information. You will need to turn in a bibliography with your project on the day you present.
