Hibbeler, Engineering Mechanics: Dynamics, 13th Ed., 2013 ME 2560, or ME 2530, PHYS 2050 and PHYS 2060 Instructor: Office: Office Hours: Dr. Daniel Kujawski F-237, Tel. 276-3428 Tuesday and Thursday 11:00 am – noon Class Rules: All necessary diagrams and calculations must be clearly shown on all graded work. No credit will be given for numbers that magically appears. No makeup test will be given. If you miss a test for reason beyond your control, those points will be added to the final exam. One homework problem will be collected at random for grading for each lecture unit for which homework is assigned. No late homework will be accepted. You must use 8.5’ x 11” paper with no jagged edges. You must be in class to turn in homework. I reserve the right to give a quiz at any time during any class unit. The quizzes will be based on homework and will be given when attendance is low. If the is a question about the grading of any problem, you must raise the issue before the next class after receiving the grade. The final exam will be comprehensive. Academic Integrity: You are responsible for making yourself aware of and understanding the policies and procedures in the Undergraduate (pp. 274-276) Catalog that pertain to Academic Integrity. These policies include cheating, fabrication, falsification and forgery, multiple submission, plagiarism, complicity and computer misuse. If there is reason to believe you have been involved in academic dishonesty, you will be referred to the Office of Student Judicial Affairs. You will be given the opportunity to review the charge(s). If you believe you are not responsible, you will have the opportunity for a hearing. You should consult with me if you are uncertain about an issue of academic honesty prior to the submission of an assignment or test.
