BRICK CAMPAIGN
SUPPORT SOFTBALL WITH A BRICK
When coach Andrew Watt started with Hartnell College in 1991 the softball program and
facilities were in need of renovation and in 2010 we celebrated the opening of Phase I of
the Athletics Master Plan with completely renovated softball field. Now we have a
state-of-the-art facility as many opponents, and one of the nicest facilities in California.
The new field house only adds to our impressive athletics complex. Our goal is to help our
girls move on academically to the next level and obtain their degree.
We also want our players to understand the important of community services and giving
back to the community. Our athletes volunteers are very involved with the softball clinics,
our week long summer softball and tennis camps.
Hartnell softball has had several consecutive 20 win seasons. The lady Panthers record is
currently 29 wins and 6 losses. We are currently ranked 2nd in Northern California and
4th in the state. Our goal is to get into the State playoffs this
year.
Our new state of the art field house will help our programs by
allowing umpires a changing room before and after games,
training room facilities for our trainer and athletes, classrooms,
concessions and restrooms will be used by all the athletic
programs.
