The objective of this certificate is to provide students the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare for employment in entry-level positions
in music technology, songwriting and composition environments. This certificate indicates that the student has acquired knowledge of
different aspects of music technology including recording, amplification, installation, and organizational aspects of the industry.
Admission: Open to all students. Registration is limited to class size restricitons.
Certificate Requirements:
Students intending to earn a certificate from Crafton Hills College must complete no less than 50 percent of the courses required for the
certificate in residence at Crafton Hills College and must earn a “C” or better in all coursework required as a part of the certificate.
Completion of the following 7 units qualifies the student for the Music Technology and Song Writing Fundamentals
